Dear Diary,
The Lord of the Flies was correct. I shouldn't have told them about the beast. The did me in. They killed me, and they thought that I was the beast. I heard Jack saying that they thought I was the beast in disguise. Even Ralph and Piggy took part in the dance. They killed me and Piggy is even denying it. Ralph isn't pretending that he didn't take part though. He knew that they killed me. He doesn't even know why though. It wasn't fear. He doesn't even know why he did it. I guess I wouldn't know if I had done what they did.
After they killed me, I've been able to see how Jack treats his tribe. He beat up Wilfred for some reason, I don't even know. Maybe he just did it to show people how he will rule. He even has his fort set up like a battle ready castle. They have the whole bridge set up like a trap. One of the many boulders is set up for unwanted guests. Maybe the "beast" as Jack said. They still think that there is a beast out there, that I was just the beast in disguise. Well, maybe he should have just listened to me. There is no beast. All of that time it was just that aviator. They have really just gone crazy. They don't know whats what any more.
Jack was even planning to raid Ralph's camp just for the fire. It's just pretty much pure savagery. They can't even make their own fire. They need to be able to make their own fire, without stealing from the other group. Too bad for them that they decided not to light the fire tonight, for no one would be able to see the smoke in the dark. No boats would even be able to sail at night.
Even though they didn't have a fire tonight, Jack and some of his Reds, as the other group calls them, decided to raid the other camp for fire. Because of the fire not being lit, Jack and the others had to improvise. They stole Piggy's glasses. I guess now they can make their own fire, but they had to steal to make it. I guess Piggy deserves it. There's no denying that they killed me. He shouldn't really deny it. It happened, and there is no undoing the inevitable.
