My Independent Reading Book

The book I've chosen to read is the second book in the series of Pendragon. It is called Pendragon-Book Two: The Lost City of Faar, by DJ MacHale. I really enjoyed the first book in the Pendragon series, it had great writing and a great story. It was about a teenage boy who goes on an adventure to save another dimension. His friends read his journals that he sends to the second Earth, the one we live in. The characters are very believable, I can definitley relate to characters like Mark, a nerd who is very socially akward. The last book gave an ending in which the antagonist got away, leaving an open ending which makes me want to read the second one.
